Rosemary biscuit recipe

As promised for all those who asked the Rosemary Biscuit Recipe!

8oz plain flour
4oz butter
5oz castor sugar
1 egg
1 pinch salt
2oz finely chopped walnuts
1 tsp finely chopped rosemary

Cream together the butter and sugar and then add the egg and beat in. Slowly add the flour and salt half at a time until you have a paste. Roll this into a sausage shape about 4cm across. Wrap in foil and put in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Cut 1/2 cm thick discs off the sausage and place on baking sheet and cook in pre heated oven at 190 c/gas 5 for 10 mins until lightly golden. The sausage will keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks!

Here's a non glam pic of me with said biscuits and don't forget you can ring the changes with flavour by adding, raisins, hazelnuts, cherries etc.

Let me know how you got on....
